§ 153.017. CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.

  • (A) A certificate of occupancy shall be obtained for any building or structure hereafter erected or structurally altered, is occupied or used or the use of the building is altered.
    (B) Application for a certificate of occupancy for a new building or for an existing building which has been altered shall be made to the Zoning Administrator as part of the application for a zoning permit as required in § 153.016.
    (C) Every certificate of occupancy shall state that the building or proposed use of a building or land complies with all provisions of law and this chapter. A record of all certificates of occupancy shall be kept in the office of the Zoning Administrator and copies shall be furnished on request to any person having a proprietary or tenancy interest in the building or land affected.
